Admissions Policy

Laude San Pedro International College is an inclusive school. We welcome applications for admission from pupils of all backgrounds. We admit pupils with an additional educational need and/or disability provided both parents and school conclude that we can provide appropriately for the child’s specific needs. We aim to help our students to find their place within our school community, providing a number of specialized learning paths and supporting their different talents and aspirations.

When requesting a place, we assess the level of English language of all our prospective students and a maths assessment is also needed from the age of 7 (Year 3) as it is important for all students to be able to access the curriculum. For those students who do not have the required English level, we offer an Accelerated English Programme to help them develop their language skills in order to be able to fully participate in the academic life of the School. For Secondary, a science assessment will also be required and to enter into Year 12 all candidates should have at least 5 GCSE´s with results A* to C and with a minimum of B in the subjects they would like to study for A Levels.

Prospective students will also be asked to provide their latest school reports and/or a reference person whom we can contact. Good behaviour, respectful demeanour towards teachers and peers and a positive attitude to learning are requirements we would look for in our prospective candidates in our effort to build a learning community with strong expectations. Understanding their aspirations for their future will also help us know our students better.
