8th February 17

On Friday 3rd February, Laude San Pedro International College, represented by Mrs. Remedios Lopez (School Principal) and Mr. Charles Marchand (Deputy Head of School) attended a conference on the Brexit theme organized by the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) and CIT Marbella.

The British Ambassador for Spain, Mr. Simon Manley, was present and gave a speech aimed at reassuring the British expat community in Andalucía, arguing that Britain would negotiate “the best possible deal” with the EU, insisting on the importance of creating new free trade agreements between Spain and the U.K.

Mr. Marchand was able to ask Mr. Manley about his views on the future of educational agreements between Spain and the U.K, and the Ambassador was adamant that UK universities will continue to welcome growing numbers of international students in the years to come.
