3rd October 16

Whilst most students were starting to enjoy a well-deserved rest, 13 of our KS4 (and one Year 8) volunteered to rise early on Saturday morning to help ADANA collect money in front of Carrefour Estepona. ADANA (Association for the Rights of Abandoned Animals) is an animal charity based on the Costa del Sol and run solely by volunteers. Laude students were on hand, with some canine helpers, to help raise much needed funds towards housing and feeding the animals. The hours that they logged also goes towards the Citizenship part of their Laude Development Award.

Our work with ADANA hasn´t stopped as the charity is looking for volunteers to help them look after the animals at their facility in Estepona. If you would like to volunteer or would like any further information about either ADANA or the Laude Development award then please contact Chris Litchfield on c.litchfield@laudesanpedro.com.
